Tuition & Notary Public Mrs. Sandy Zaleski, ext. 404 Psalm 2,4, 7-10 My Dear People, Now that the celebration of Christmas has come to a close, I want to thank all of you for your efforts in making for a devout and joyful celebration. There are too many to list here who have contributed their time, talent, and other personal resources to make these as successful as they were. Having returned to Ordinary Time, it is time to reflect on our ordinary lives and extraordinary mission given to us by God. The challenges we face on a daily basis to live by faith, hope, and love continue to call us to grow. While in the cold of winter, nature seems to be dormant, tempting us to hide in comfort and warmth, I am reminded of the words of Pope Benedict XVI, “We are made for greatness, not comfort!” Last year for Lent many of us read a book entitled “Ordinary Lives, Extraordinary Mission”. Perhaps a brief review of that material can get us off to a good start as we progress through this New Year together. Fr.
