Denis Hall after the 6:00 p.m. Mass Subject: Islam presented by Deacon Lloyd Sutter The U.S. Bishops have asked us to offer a Mass of Reparation & Healing for our Sins and to observe a National Day of Mourning & Penance on the sad anniversary of our nation’s legalization of abortion on demand. Our Mass will be Friday, January 22nd, at 6 p.m. (we will have no 9:30 morning Mass that Friday). We also invite any parent who wishes to honor the life of any child lost, including those miscarried or stillborn. Last Wednesday, we heard a talk by Fr. Byrd on the origins of Islam and the differences between Islam and Catholicism. Join us this Wednesday, January 13th after the 6 p.m. Mass for a continuation of our talks on Islam when Deacon Sutter will discuss Islam’s nascent antagonism toward the non-Muslin world and in particular, its antagonism towards Catholicism.
