Just a reminder; Signs can only be posted and prospects will only be permitted to enter the community after Management is notified in writing of the Listing, Listing Brokerage and Listing Agent. Also, Homeowners cannot transfer Home Ownership or Site Leases without Managements’ prior approval of the New Homeowner. Facility Upgrades: Please be patient and pardon our dust...in 2015 along with a general facelift to the landscaping, there will be improvements to the recreational facilities and clubhouse. A partial list includes; new carpeting, paint, moldings, interior shutters and a few surprises. Pedestrian Safety: At the Falls we strive to promote greater appreciation and observance of practices conducive to pedestrian safety and mutual courtesy. Key traffic principles for pedestrians and drivers include: ● A road user's right of way must be exercised with “due care” Pedestrians may cross at most mid-block locations, but must yield outside a crosswalk. ● A driver is obliged to yield the right of way to a pedestrian lawfully crossing in a crosswalk If a sidewalk is provided, a pedestrian traveling along a street or road is obliged to use it if practical, otherwise to keep as far left as practical on the shoulder or other area available on left side of the roadway. Trash: In order for our Community to stay beautiful we need the cooperation of all of our residents and guests. Please take care not to throw any cigarette butts and/or trash from your car windows. Also homeowners are responsible for providing adequate containers for their waste disposal. Please do not put your trash containers out any sooner than the evening before or morning of trash pick-up. Pets: Pets are not permitted in any recreational, common area or community building. When outdoors, pets must be kept on a leash. Pet owners must keep home sites clean at all times and will be responsible for the removal of the feces of their animal. This would include the yards as this can be a problem for our staff when they are mowing. And the dust having settled, it’s time to get back to the tasks of representing you in any collective matters concerning “The Falls”. The year 2014 saw an era of improving management cooperation with us, the Home Owners, but there is still much to be settled and accomplished. We need to be aware of our actions that could result in unfavorable future conditions. Not paying attention to the 15mph speed limit in The Falls could result in the installation of temporary Speed Bumps or other undesirable actions that will penalize us all for the violations of a few residents. Parking on the sidewalks/grass is another damaging habit. No one could be happy about being assessed for vehicle cracked sidewalks or ruptured sprinkler heads. It just makes good sense to be considerate. Let’s ALL work together to improve the quality of life in “The Falls” not restrict it any more than is necessary. We can’t continue to make progress if we are always taking one step forward and two steps backward. The Feb 28 HOA MEETING will have a pleasant twist to it. Breakfast! If you are a PAID UP member or PAY YOUR DUES AT THE DOOR, your breakfast is free! YOU MUST SHOW YOUR CURRENT HOA MEMBER CARD. Details will be posted at the clubhouse.
