Cornerstone Christian Church (772) 567-0085 February 1, 2015 Today New Mission Statement Sunday School, 9:00 AM Family Worship, 10:00 AM ‘Bringing glory to God and people to Jesus’. This is our new Mission Statement. It is easy to remember but more importantly it will be a guide for ‘all things Cornerstone’. All ministries, activities and events we promote will be guided by that statement. We are working on a new logo and marketing information. If you have an idea or can help us in any way please talk to one of the Elders. January 25, 2015 Sunday School Attendance: Family Worship Attendance: General Fund: Weekly average needed for budget: Mortgage Reduction 32 132 $4,270.00 $3,726.26 $90.00 New Sister in Christ We rejoiced with the angels as Jeni Carr baptized Michelle Pelletier. Jeni studied the Bible with Michelle and was honored to be a part of her conversion to Christ. Michelle has made a proclamation as to whose side she’s on. Give her the prayer and encouragement she needs as a new sister in Christ. Sunday School Dale Dunayczan has begun an adult class using Kyle Idleman’s DVD series entitled, ‘AHA’. Iris Helton is teaching a combined class for children. Come and enjoy coffee and donuts and a great lesson. Join us even if you missed the start of this series. It’s structured so that you can jump right in. DVD’s Available The Audio/Visual team records each worship service as well as any special services. For instance, we recorded the Jim Roode and Don Wright Memorial services as well as the Baby Recognition ceremony. If you want a copy of any service we record, talk to Kent or Mike Whitney. CCC- Stands For Sanctity Of Life Fifteen members of CCC joined other participants at the National Stand For Life along Route 60 in Vero Beach on Sunday, January 18. Christians must stand up for the sanctity of all life, the elderly, the unborn, and persons of all ages in between. Our continual fight does have positive results. Two years ago Planned Parenthood, the giant promoter and provider of abortions in our nation, closed its doors in Vero Beach! Boycotts help defund abortion by withholding our patronage of businesses that finance PP. Pick up one of the updated 2015 “Planned Parenthood Boycott” lists at the Missions display in the Welcome Center and you will not find Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn Steakhouse or Staples on that list! More than 270 boycotted businesses no longer support Planned Parenthood. Do boycotts work? You Betcha! Monthly Financial Update Cornerstone is 4 months into our fiscal year. January’s giving was $13,927. That is $977 below the budgeted need for the month. As always, thank you for your generous giving. Please be In Prayer For: Kristy Albano- Pain management.
