winterfest
Winterfest forms are in the Café today! Space is limited, so please sign-up as
soon as possible! Everyone (adults & students) must have a medical and
liability release form filled out in order to attend. Also, today is the last day for
the discounted price!
medical release form
Please let our teachers know if your child has any food allergies, items of
comfort, i.e. blanket, stuffed animal or any other special things that would
make your child’s experience a great one.
When you bring your child to Bible class, every child 2 years old - 3rd
grade must be issued a two-part name tag. One tag is for your child and
one is for the parent who will be picking up the child. This is the only way
your child may be picked up from class…give the matching tag to an adult
volunteer in the classroom when you pick up your child.
We have Children’s Worship Bulletins available in the racks in the Great
Hall.
All adults and students who participate in TYM activities need to fill out an
updated Medical and Liability Release Form for 2015. This form will be valid for
all 2015 activities and trips except for church camp and Jamaica. Jana Frankum
will be in the Great Hall TODAY with these forms. You will need your insurance
card and students will need at least one parent signature to complete these
forms. **Please note that all those going to Winterfest will be required to
complete these forms!!!**
Are you a likable person? Do you possess that likability factor that
makes people just generally like being around you? Or, are you that
person who is blind to the annoying ways you are coming across to
people (words, tone of voice, body language) and unaware of how it is
hindering your success in life, especially in your interpersonal
relationships?
To our guests...
We were all visitors once, too and we really are glad you’re here!
We know you may have some questions. We did. All we ask is
that you give us a chance to answer them and help you in any
way we can - no strings attached.
From Steve...

Ushers are waiting to help you with anything you may need as
well as direct you to restrooms, the nursery, etc. All you have to
do is ask and we’ll do everything we can to help.
About our worship
First of all, we will never intentionally do anything to embarrass
you - such as ask you to stand so we can identify you. All of our
acts of worship are strictly voluntary and you may participate
according to your comfort level. (Return communion cups to the
tray - please do not stack cups.)
Nursery
There is an attended Nursery available for children Birth through
36 months. We also have Bible story coloring sheets and crayons
available in the Sprouts unattended common area, along with a
streaming of the service for those who have children older than 36
months. An usher will be happy to show you the way.
Bible Study
Following our worship service, we invite you to stay for a time of
Bible Study. We know this can be intimidating but we promise you
that, just like in our worship service, we will do our best to make
you comfortable. And we believe you’ll be glad you stayed. A list
of classes is available in the foyer.

trades of hope
Natalie Bobo’s Girl Scout Troop is working on their Bronze
Service Award Project and they need our help. The troop is
partnering with an organization called Trades of Hope to
support the women of Haiti. The Haitian women create beautiful
beaded jewelry from recycled cereal and cracker boxes. These
women are then given fair trade for this jewelry, which enables
them to have the money to support their families. This jewelry is
then sent to the United States and sold all over the country
through Trades of Hope. They are currently short on the
recycled boxes that they need. The boxes must be at least eight
inches in length on at least one side and be made of very thin,
but colorful cardboard. The boxes must be clean and empty,
preferably with the end tabs trimmed off. Please flatten these
boxes and place them in the clear plastic Trades of Hope bin
located just outside the office door.

Are you a likable person? Do you possess that likability factor that
makes people just generally like being around you? Or, are you that
person who is blind to the annoying ways you are coming across to

To our guests...
We were all visitors once, too and we really are glad you’re here!
We know you may have some questions. We did. All we ask is
that you give us a chance to answer them and help you in any
way we can - no strings attached.

About our worship
First of all, we will never intentionally do anything to embarrass

acts of worship are strictly voluntary and you may participate
according to your comfort level.
