God tells us today that if we cling to him, He will save
us. It is as simple as that. Hold on tight to God.
Adoration Guardians Needed
Come Let Us Adore Him Jesus asks,
“Could you not stay…with me for even an hour?” Mt. 26:40.
He invites all of us…..
to spend one quiet hour each week in the adoration chapel.
Adoration Hours:
1st Friday of the Month 9am-9pm (1 Hr Time Slots)
At least 1 Guardian must be present with the Blessed Sacrament at all times
while exposed.
Don’t think you can make a weekly commitment? Sign up with a friend or
family member and share a time slot. The most critical hours where we
are in need of Guardians are from 7-8pm and 8-9pm.

volunteer opportunities within the
organization to help us continue our mission
of helping families and individuals in the
community. Everyone has something to give
and this is a great time to get involved. It only

Today, we will take up the Collection for the Church in Latin
America. Your gifts to the collection will fund catechesis, pastoral

Becoming Catholic: RIGHT OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF
ADULTS
At Saint Rita, our RCIA classes are open to all parishioners.
Classes begin on Monday September 12th, 6:30PM, Conference Room at the Office.
Are you or someone you know interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith?
Are you a member of another Christian faith who is seeking to join the Catholic Church?
Are you a baptized Catholic who never received any religious instruction and have not received
First Communion or been confirmed?
Do you have younger children who you would want to be fully initiated into the Church?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of study, exploration, and faith formation for
you. It is usually referred to by its initials: RCIA.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process of initiation into the Catholic Community of Faith.
It is a process which enables the study of the Gospels, Catholic teaching, Christian values, and the
development and deepening of a life of prayer and action with the support and involvement of the parish
community. It is about the everyday conversion that all disciples of Christ are called to experience.

SCHOOL RESUMES -School resumed this past week and
there will be a lot more traffic on the roads (much of it
very close to the CTK environs) …Please be especially
careful when you are out and about watching for excited
children; buses back on the road and student drivers or
frantic parents that maybe didn’t leave home on time!!!
CTK Religious Education Classes
will resume on Sunday, September 11th …
Classes will be at 11:00 AM (before Mass.)
There will be two classes: one for the Elementary/First
Communion Group and one for the Middle School/
Confirmation Group. If you would like to sign your child
up for these classes, PLEASE see Margaret Aresco or Karen
Mueller after Mass during the next couple of weeks.
