Find those in your community with whom you share a special interest, and get social! Join a Community Group – Quilting circles, book clubs, fishing trips etc. Look for opportunities and more in your community to make new and lasting connections. Volunteer – You have so many skills to offer. What better way to use them than to contribute to a charity of your choice? You can find all kinds of organizations to support either online or in your community. Do you have a green thumb? Help plan a community garden. Do you have the fastest needles in east? Grab some friends and knit hats for cancer patients. There’s so much you can accomplish when you work together as a community.
