Volunteers
Volunteers have style. They’re
fiercely independent. If you have
to ask how much they cost, you
can’t afford them. They are the
only human beings on the face of
this earth who reflect the nation’s
compassion, unselfishness, caring,
patience, need and just plain
loving one another.

DEAR FRIENDS
Once again, you’ve blessed Degenstein Community Library with your
wonderful support. We hope you know that the library board and staff realize
how fortunate we are to have you working on our behalf and are so very
grateful for it!
Friends President Jo Ann and other Friends representatives visited the library
at the end of December and presented a check for $4,000. That brought your
2014 donations to the library to $21,000 and your total library giving is now
$247,992! You should be tremendously proud of the difference you’ve made
for our library!
As the cold winter continues, don’t forget, we have downloadable audio and
eBooks now. Ask Library Staff for detailed instruction sheets to get started on
the Overdrive service with a wide variety of devices. Always log in first for
the best selection!! Log in using PL2361 directly followed by your 6 digit
library card number.
Please visit the library often and benefit from all the resources and services
you help us provide. Encourage others to come, too.
Thanks again, so much. Stay warm and READ!!
Librarian Gail
