Classic Dance Club Newsletter January 2015 President’s Message Hello to all ballroom dancers and friends. We are now into the second part of our dancing season for the Classic Dance Club. I would like to thank all the hard working and dedicated executive of the club for volunteering their time and efforts. I would also like to express appreciation to the loyal members of the club for attending our monthly dances. Our membership is steadily growing this year and now stands at approximately 95 members. While the club has been in existence for many years, this is a milestone year, being our 30th Anniversary. Hence as a tribute to the many ballroom dancers for Saskatoon and area, the club is putting on a special Gala 30th Anniversary Event. This is the clubs way of saying thank you for your support. Saturday lessons will include: Foxtrot Triple Swing Rumba Viennese Waltz Sunday lessons will include: Tango Quickstep Cha Cha Waltz Private lessons are still available for Thursday and Friday. We will be holding elections for the executive of 2015-2016, and welcome all members to let their names stand for nominations. All members in attendance will receive a discount of $5 off their entry to the June 5 dance. Members please note!!! The Classic Dance Club is a semi-formal organization.
