Auditorium From the Superintendent Although we are just beginning the calendar year, we are actually midway through the school year. Education is an unusual profession: Every school year has a definitive starting point and a clear finish line. The beginning of the school year is a time to refresh, anticipate and set goals. Now, at the midpoint, is a time to check in on student progress. Teachers assess formally and informally to determine what support might be needed for each student's success. Parents are encouraged to check in with their child's teacher to see how best to support student learning at home. Although conferences are formally scheduled in November and March, teachers are always available to address parent questions or concerns. February 13th, Minimum Day A reminder that Friday, February 13th is a minimum day. Kindergarten will dismiss at 11:30 and all remaining grades will dismiss at 11:45. Lunch will not be served and there will be no after-school programs offered that day. The Dolphin Center will also be closed that afternoon. Sweet Thirteen!
