Thank you and have a blessed Christmas season. Page Three St. Margaret Mary Parish December 20, 2015 A Note from the Administrator... Dear friends, Everyone says Christmas is a time of happiness, peace and hope … but statistics show a rise in suicides, domestic violence and depression. There is more darkness here in the northern hemisphere. Many drink more alcohol, and eat more sugar. We desperately miss those who have gone before. We may compare Christmas now with idyllic Christmases we had as (spoiled) children. If you have any low spots over the holidays --- no one appreciates your dinner or your gifts, or you get thoughtless presents or maybe none at all, or you feel so lonesome for those special people who aren’t here you wish you were dead --- try to remember that Christmas does not depend on you to be successful. God makes Christmas a success every year by renewing the gift of our Savior. And that means Light is in this world, and that the Light desperately totally completely loves you --- whether you’re in a happy mood or feeling very sorry for yourself. Things get better. Life moves forward. And after death is eternal Life. That’s the promise of Christmas. So … be patient with yourself and be patient with others … and Merry Christmas! Peace, All Good! Fr.
