CHURCH FLOWERS
Flowers today are from June Baker in
loving memory of Stephen.
The new 2015 Flowers Donation list is up
in the foyer for those that would like to
choose a date for their donation. Thank
you to all those who donated during the
past year. Without these kind donations
we are unable to continue with fresh
flowers.
BEREAVEMENT
It is with sadness we've heard of the
death of Pat Hayman. Our thoughts and
prayers are with her family and friends.
THANK YOU
A massive thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Afternoon Tea
last Saturday, and also the very generous
donations received. Many danced to the
wonderful music of Barbara and Bernard
Hunt, making an enjoyable event. Thanks
to my Mum Ros and Grandma Madeline for
baking the delicious cakes and scones. I
am delighted with the whopping total
raised of £480, towards my trip to India
with Raleigh International in February,
where I shall be working for three
months helping with sustainable development in a rural area near Mysore. I shall
look forward to letting you know all about
my big adventure, when I
return. With my very sincere thanks.
PLEASE CAN YOU HELP MESSY
CHURCH?
The next session on 13 February is focussing on The Temptations. If you have any
small clear plastic bottles suitable for
laying with different colours of sand, or
small pictures of different types of scenery/weather suitable for making Lent
Journey pictures, please could you hand
them to Wendy or a member of the
team. Many thanks

PEWS
Some pews were taken out to accommodate the Christmas Labyrinth and kept
out at the request of Kirsty and Steve
for their wedding as they liked the more
modern layout of the church with the
chairs for guests. Since they were taken
out the manpower to put them back has
diminished because of health problems.
If you are able to assist with reinstating
them then please let one of the stewards
know and a date will be arranged to do so.
