Youth Interactive Friendship Camp will happen July 21 to 30, 2015. The cost of the camp is sponsored by the Government of British Columbia so students interested would only need to pay for air fare and spending money. Students will visit famous spots in Shanghai and learn about Chinese traditional culture as well as share their own culture with students from around the world. Too Good to Be Threw Thrift Shop in Courtenay is looking for volunteers to help out with sorting, pricing, arranging, clean up and other duties as required. The next Comox Valley Blood Donor Clinic will take place February 3-5th at the Florence Filberg Centre in Courtenay. This is the first clinic that counts toward the 2015 Comox Valley Secondary School Challenge. Staff, students, friends and family are invited to donate blood on behalf of Isfeld Secondary School. The winning school will receive $150 at the end of the challenge. Member registration forms are available on the school website or in the Work Experience Office.
