Notices from SS Peter & Paul
1st February - Presentation
of Christ in the Temple
Welcome!
Questionnaire
We are handing out a Questionnaire regarding the appointment of a new Rector for
our Parish. There will be a box to leave your response at the back of the church.
Thank you to all those people who completed a questionnaire last week. You only
need to return one per member of the congregation.
200 Club
It's still not too late to join. We had a record number of entries last year but this year
we seem to be falling behind. Please do join and help support our 2 Churches and
perhaps you could win a prize! Encourage your friends and families too. Forms are
available at the back of the Churches.

BRS notes – Could this be you?
Would anyone please like to take over the distribution of the bible reading fellowship
notes. To be done three times a year, to be distributed to the Church Members that
have joined up to this reading fellowship. Please contact Les Tonkin 020 8529 6687
Hall Bookings
We are looking for someone to give the personal touch. We need someone to take
messages for the hall bookings and pass them on to the administrator. If you feel
you could do this please speak to either Claire Codling or Joyce Hilton. Many
Thanks, the DCC.
Blue gift-aid envelopes
Please ensure that you provide full name and address and
postcode legibly in the details when you donate by blue gift-aid
envelope. Failure to provide all these details will result in the
Church not being able to reclaim the tax on your
donations. Recently we have received a number of envelopes
where these details have not been completed and therefore
cannot submit a claim for the tax reclaim.
The Food Bank
There is a steady flow of referrals to our local Food Bank. This has
now been operational for a year during which there have been 97
referrals, of which 53 involved families with children, ranging in
age from a few weeks to 17 years old.
Please continue your support. The donation box is at the back of
church.
Planned Giving Envelopes
If anyone would like to have planned giving envelopes instead of using the blue
ones, or set up a monthly standing order, then please contact the planned giving
organiser Ian Rampton on 020 8527 5009 or at [email protected].
Raising Money for Parish Share
Thank you for your contributions so far this year towards our upkeep. The
total of collections at services during January, together with standing
orders was £4,705 (2014 £4,645)
Thank You
Ann Eames and family would like to thank you for the money kindly donated in
Arthur's memory at his recent funeral. It will be divided equally between the
Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK (Admiral Nurses) to help fund the valuable
work both charities do. All your kind words at this sad time have also been much
appreciated.

January, just a few weeks away from his 100th birthday. Len’s family would be
pleased to see anyone who wishes to attend his funeral on at the Parish Church 17th
February at 1.15pm Joyce. Please keep Len’s family in your prayers.
