CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. This competition is open to all residents of Eyre Peninsula.
2. All entries must be original work of the entrant. (Refer rule 9)
3. All prints to be Standard size of 100mm x 150mm (4”x 6”).
Except Sections J & K.
To be mounted with a 10mm border on Poster Card (not rigid
board or Matt Board. (i.e. Max GSM =180 Min GSM 160)
4. No more than 3 entries per section.
5. Panoramic Prints are 100mm x 200-300mm (4” x 8”-12”)
With a 10mm border on poster card as above.
6. Enlargements (Section K) Paper size to be 8” x 12” (203 x 306) and
to be mounted only in Seldex mounts available from your Club. (If
not a Camera Club member, mounts are available from any EP
Camera Club) This section only will tour Eyre Peninsula following the
exhibition. Please place title of photo along with address details on
back of mount. Attach using removable sticky tape available from
most newsagents to minimize damage to mounts.
Any style and size of photo/s is eligible for this section e.g. colour,
Monochrome, hand painted, manipulated, sequences, photo
montage. If multiple photos are used they are all to be printed out
on one page and not made into a 3D effect.
Max 2 entries per person in this section.
7. Photo Title to be on bottom left hand corner of all entries except
enlargements. All other information on back of photo e.g. name,
address and club (& title of enlargement)
8. Entries that will be rejected by EPCCA and/or judges include:
•
Incorrect mounts used (e.g. over thick (Rule 3)
•
Repeat entries: Previous winning & merit entries of EPCCA
Competitions to be entered once only. All other entries
twice only.
•
Oversized entries and undersized entries.
•
Entries without details on the back.
•
Out of category – discretion of coordinator to reclassify.
9. Plagiarized Penalty. All of the entrant’s work will be disqualified
and ineligible for EPCCA Competitions for a period of 2 years.
Entrant will be notified in writing of the decision.
10. No Liability accepted for loss or damage.
11. All entries to be judged by SA Photographic Federation Inc.
12. Exhibition of accepted entries will be at Whyalla.
13. Where possible, all entries will be returned to a representative
of the members club at the conclusion of the EPCCA picnic. If not a
member of EPCCA affiliated club, appropriate postage must be
included for return of entries by mail. This excludes enlargement
entries which will tour regional galleries, clubs and photographic
venues. Enlargement entries will be returned to members club at
conclusion of exhibition tour.
14. Submit the opposite half of this form with your entries.
15. Entrants will allow reproduction of their work for promotional
purposes. © Copyright will always remain with the Photographer.
