About the Farm Safety Seminar
The Western Region of the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) is delighted to host a Farm Safety Seminar in County Mayo. In 2014, there were 30
fatalities recorded in farm related incidents in the Republic of Ireland. Our hope is that NISO, in co-operation with interested parties, can help drive
improvements in safety standards on farms across Ireland. To this end, this seminar is targeting the farming community to adopt safer agricultural
practices . This seminar is open to all farmers, horticulturists, agricultural contractors,“influencers” and their families.
Pauric Corrigan Chairman, Western Region and President, NISO.
