As we prepare for our Annual Business Meeting, we will need to elect 3 new
board members, with Don Buchanan, Nelson Compton, and lee Bennet
ending their terms. All 3 are eligible for reelection. Please be in prayer as we
look to God to lead and direct in this process. Nominations close today, and
ballots must be signed and confidential.
A Call to Prayer
During the month of February, we will continue our emphasis on prayer
with an early morning prayer time at 7:30 am on Wednesdays for any who
can join us, as well as our evening prayer service at 6:30 pm. As well, you are
encouraged to make time for preservice prayer at 10 am Sundays in the
gymnasium.
While many books want to teach you how to “do” church, Mark
Driscoll offer’s a video series on what the church is. In Vintage Church
he presents twelve confessional, experiential, and missional aspects of a
local church with an emphasis on balancing the eternal truths of
Scripture with timely, relevant methods.
