Cherub helper at church. Grace is a pet sitter in her spare time and enjoys
listening to music, watching and making you tube videos and loves to sing,

TODAY IS FRIENDSHIP SUNDAY: Name tags and washable markers can be
found in the blue folders located in the pews. We encourage everyone to
fill out a name tag, greet your neighbor and meet a new friend.
YOUR PRAYERS AND CONCERNS ARE REQUESTED FOR:
Mission Partner: Partnering with the Church of South India, RCA mission
consultant Linn Gann works among the poor and outcast of the country
(formerly known as the “untouchables”), offering job skill training and
community organization, including programs that provide sources of
income to families, job creation through micro-enterprise initiatives, and
development projects such as installation of bore wells that provide clean
drinking water and vegetable garden irrigation. Linn has helped to
establish schools for the children of the Dalit social class, to provide
livestock, and to educate women. In a region of the country where
unemployment and sub-poverty living affects 80% of the population, Linn
Gann is helping to empower these marginalized people. Please keep Linn
in your prayers.

CLOTHING DRIVE: Thank you for all those who have

ON FEBRUARY 3, 1943, the United States Army transport ship Dorchester
was torpedoed off the coast of Newfoundland. On board were 940 service
members and four chaplains—a Roman Catholic priest, a rabbi, a
Methodist pastor and Reformed Church in America chaplain Clark
Poling. As the ship began to sink, the four chaplains organized an orderly
evacuation of the ship. When life jackets ran out, the chaplains removed
their own and gave them to others. They helped survivors climb into
lifeboats. Then the chaplains linked arms, prayed, and sang hymns as the
ship sank. They perished with the ship, sacrificing their lives in order that
others might live. The spirit of sacrifice embodied by the four chaplains is
alive today in RCA chaplaincy. In every place where our people serve—in
every circumstance, no matter how challenging—over 150 RCA chaplains
provide the hope of Jesus through a ministry of presence throughout the
military, healthcare and correctional institutions and college campuses.
2015 OFFERING ENVELOPES: If you have not yet picked up your offering
envelopes for 2015, you will find them in the Ministry Center copy room. The
copy room is accessible on Sunday mornings or you can stop in during the
week (8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) to pick up your envelopes. If envelopes were
not assigned to you and you would like them, please contact Pam in the
church office at [[email protected]] or 732-462-4555.
THANK YOU TO ALL BLOOD DONORS who came out to give blood on January
28th. Forty-eight units were presented and forty-one were donated! These
are great results! Our next blood drive will be September 30, 2015 so mark
your calendars and let's see if we can do even better then!

more about us? We will offer New Member
