Annual Ministry Appeal Weekend February 14 - 15
“Deepening the Faith, Together in Service”
The key to the success of our Annual Ministry Appeal is participation. Last year’s parish goal was
$22,300. Due to the generosity of our parishioners, we received pledges of $80,081, which was
359% over goal! Of that, the parish has received back $56,612, which is 99.3% of the amount
pledged.
Our Diocesan goal for this year is $24,400. This goal has already been met! This means that all
money pledged will come back directly to Holy Cross Parish to support its ministries and projects.
In order to reach our overall parish goal of $80,000, we need each household in the parish to
participate. Last year, 104 of 525 families, or 20% of our parish participated. Some of you may have
already received a letter from Bishop Garcia announcing the appeal. If you have not had an
opportunity to make a gift to the appeal or have been waiting to make a pledge, brochures and
envelopes are available. Please complete the pledge envelope in the pew and place it in the
collection basket. Remember that 100% of the money raised over our parish goal will remain with
us. Please be as generous as you can and help us to meet our goal of $80,000.
And if, for any reason, your financial circumstances change or you become dissatisfied with the
parish, we will return 100% of the money to paid on your pledge.
