SOCIETY - On
Saturday, March 7th 2015, The Holy Saviour Holy
Name Society will host its annual trip to see the
Philadelphia Seventy Sixers play the Atlanta Hawks
at the Wells Fargo Center. Cost is $45 per ticket and
includes game ticket and round trip bus
transportation from Metz Bus Company. The bus
leaves the church parking lot at 5pm. You may
bring refreshments on the bus. Please contact Mike

HOLY SAVIOUR SENIOR CITIZENS - Our
next Board Meeting will be held on February 3rd at
9:00 AM and our Regular Meeting at 11:00 AM.

the Parish to join our Club.

MADONNA DEL SOCCORSO DI SCIACCA
February 2 is one of the two great Feasts
of the Madonna del Soccorso celebrated in
Sciacca. You may recall that, a few years ago,
we were able to receive a FAX communication
directly from Sciacca where Monsignor Marine
was leading a pilgrimage on this day, as we
celebrated here in Norristown.
We welcome the members of the MSS
Club who will attend the 9:30 Mass, followed by
their Communion Breakfast, and the Figlie di
Maria, who will attend the 5:15PM Mass,
followed by their Carnevale. I thank both groups
for their loyalty to the Parish and for helping to
build up the Faith by their zealous works.

February 2015: Two Become One
We are not made to be alone. Human beings
need and complete each other. Friendship and
community satisfy that longing with bonds of
common interest and love. Marriage is a
uniquely intimate form of friendship that calls a
man and a woman to love each other in the
manner of God’s covenant. Marriage is a
Sacrament. Married love is fruitful and offered
without reservation. This love is in the image of
Jesus’s faithfulness to the Church.

God and Father of us all, in Jesus, Your Son and
our Savior, You have made us Your sons and
daughters in the family of the Church.
May Your grace and love help our families in
every part of the world be united to one another
in fidelity to the Gospel.
FEAST OF SAINT BLASE
Tuesday, February 3, is the Feast of Saint
Blase. The traditional Blessing of Throats will
take place immediately after the 7:30am Mass
and from 12:15 to 12:30 PM
May the example of the Holy Family, with the
aid of Your Holy Spirit, guide all families,
especially those most troubled, to be homes of
communion and prayer and to always seek Your
truth and live in Your love.

SODALITY - The Sodality will receive
Communion on Sunday, February 1st at the 10:00
AM Mass. There will be a meeting after Mass.

SODALITY RETREAT – Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Sodality will be having a retreat on March
18th 2015. It will be held at Mt. Carmel Church.
Retreat Master for the day will be Father Louis
Bellopede, Pastor of St. Mary Church in
Schwenksville, PA.
Cost for the day which
includes light morning fare, and lunch will be $25.

Communion at the 7:30 AM Mass on Sunday,

DISCERNMENT RETREAT - February 13-15,

the IHM Charism and the importance of listening to
