When I see the bread, I don’t see flesh and the wine is not thick enough to be blood.” Are you interested in becoming a Catholic - Would you like to learn more about the Catholic Church, or the process for becoming Catholic? Or are you a Catholic adult who needs to complete the sacrament of Confirmation? Now is the time to get started. In the Eucharist we don’t see the flesh and blood in the natural forms. That’s because the Eucharist is a sacrament, which means it’s a sign. We have to have faith in the invisible reality, which is Christ’s body, blood, soul and divinity. F.U.E.L. dates are as following: First Communion Guidelines for Children The earliest that a child can celebrate the sacrament is at the end of 2nd grade after attendance in 1st grade. Most meetings include updates on our many Saint Anne councils and committees, news from our Catholic School, regular updates on finances from our Finance Council liaison, opportunities for various volunteer and philanthropic activities and thoughtful responses to parishioner-raised issues and questions. We are continually guided by the Holy Spirit as we discuss these topics. All opinions are valued and respected. Parish Council recommendations are made only after reaching a broad consensus with much prayerful deliberation. Please visit www.saintanne.com/parish/parish-pastoral-council/ CCC # 2404 says “In his use of things man should regard the external goods he legitimately owns not merely as exclusive to himself but common to others also, in the sense that they can benefit others as well as himself. The ownership of any property makes its holder a steward of Providence, with the task of making it fruitful and communicating its benefits to others, first of all his family. Many parishioners told me how impressive and emotional the ceremony was. Thanks to the Knights of Columbus we were able to offered this ceremony in honor of all veterans who sacrifice their lives and families for our safety and our liberty. Throughout this past year many parishioners have shared their suffering and frustration caused by the uncertainties of the present political events. When a parishioner is willing to hear I reaffirmed our belief that the Sun of Justice brings healing and salvation.
