John Robert I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas time and a Happy New Year. Two things that I would like to call your attention to: First, there will be a second collection for the victims of the tornadoes in the Diocese of Dallas. Please be generous as you always are. Thank you. Secondly, I am sharing some information that will affect St. Bartholomew's Parish. Deacon Gary Brooks has decided for personal reasons to take a sabbatical from all diaconal ministry here at St. Bartholomew's and in the diocese for an indefinite period of time. This includes his position as pastoral associate. Again, this decision was made by him for personal reasons. I want to take this opportunity to thank Deacon Gary for his ministry and support to St. Bartholomew's for many years. I also want to thank him for his wisdom and servant's heart in his role as pastoral associate the last year and a half, in particular to me. Please pray for him and his family during this time of discernment. Fr. Padre John Robert Many Bible Studies are starting up again after the Christmas break.
