The Honor All-State Band and the All-State Band were announced and Columbus North had the most students selected in the history for Columbus North High School. 10 students were selected to the Honor All-State Band, 7 students in the Regular All-State Band and 2 Students were named as alternates to the groups for a total of 19 students making the list. This was the most out of any High School in the State. These students will perform with the All-State Bands at Purdue University on March 14th. To be selected students had to prepare several excerpts outside the school day. They then went to a State Site and were recorded. During their audition the students also had to sight read a piece of music without any preparation. This was part of their audition. These recordings were listened to by college directors and they selected the best on each instrument. Congratulations to these fine musicians!! January 29th, 2015 Where Can You Help?
