Competition held under Prairie Pipe Band Association of Manitoba Inc. rules. 2. Contest is fully sanctioned by the Prairie Pipe Band Association of Manitoba and Champion Supreme points will be accrued. 3. All entries must be postmarked by February 8th, 2015 or a late fee of $10 will be charged. Fees must accompany all entries. Improper or incomplete entries will be returned. Organizers will not be responsible for late or misdirected mail. No entries will be accepted if submitted after February 15th, 2015 4. Refunds given with medical certificate only. 5. First to enter last to play. Field entries will not be accepted. 6. Local competitors must possess a PPBAM 2015 Grading Card to be presented upon request. 7. Competitors must enter the grade of their home Association. Solo competitors may play up provided they enter and play in ALL events in their grade. All competitors not registered with PPBAM must include a copy of their membership to their home association with their entry form. 8. Any competitor not ready to perform at their scheduled time may be disqualified. Up to 7 competitors in any one class – 3 awards 8 competitors in any one class – 4 awards 10 competitors in any one class – 5 awards 12 competitors or more – 6 awards Quartet awards: 1st place only 9. Awards: 10. All tunes minimum 4 parts each unless specified otherwise. 11. The organizers reserve the right to use their best judgment to add, remove or combine events from the schedule, and to make other changes that are in the best interest of conducting the competition. 12. Results and award presentations will follow events. 14. Decisions by judges on performances are final. 15. No alcohol is allowed on school property. Breach of this rule will result in disqualification and removal from premises. 16. Competitors/Spectators are responsible for any damage to school property. Contest sponsored and subsidized by the PPBAM for the benefit of all its registered members.
