A Prayer for Life
Father and maker of all,
you adorn all creation with splendor and beauty,
and fashion human lives
in your image and likeness.
Awaken in every heart
reverence for the work of your hands,
and renew among your people
a readiness to nurture and sustain
your precious gift of life.
Grant this through our Lord
Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in
the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, forever and ever. Amen.

Catholic
Charities
Annual
Appeal
The 2015 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal actively begins this weekend! Please refer to
the insert in this week’s bulletin which includes parish goal information and an overview
of the importance of Catholic Charities in our communities. This year’s appeal theme is:
Open your heart to live joyfully and generously! Catholic Charities in the Diocese of
Cleveland continues the mission of Jesus by responding to those in need through an
integrated system of quality services designed to respect the dignity of every person and
build a just and compassionate society – a society that stands united in its support of the
“least among us.” Each year, Catholic Charities impacts the lives of over 399,000 people
from every suburb and city in Northeast Ohio. Its programs and services help to meet the
daily needs of our most vulnerable brothers and sisters.
As in the past, an in-pew commitment process will take place next weekend, February 7-8.
All who have not received the mailing, or have not had a chance to respond to it, will be
asked to consider making a generous pledge to support the ministries and services
provided by Catholic Charities.
Please consider a generous gift to the Catholic Charities 2015 Annual Appeal, and please
pray for the success of this important Appeal.
Resurrection/St. An interest has been expressed in hosting a Renewal Weekend for the men of Resurrection
Rita Men’s
and St. Rita parishes, based on the “Christ Renews His Parish” program. The first step to
Renewal
offering the renewal is to have men from our two parishes participate in a renewal
weekend at one of the parishes in our diocese with the intention of then forming a team to
host our own Renewal. If you would be interested in forming the leadership team for a
parish renewal, please contact Ken Badalamenti via e-mail at [email protected], or by
phone at 216-570-7111 for more information.
