SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Sunday at 1:30 pm by appointment. Parents & Godparents should attend Pre-Jordan classes - usually
held on 3rd Thursday of each month in Rectory. Godparents who live outside St. Cyril Parish must present
a certicate of eligibility from their parish at least two
weeks in advance.
SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
Necessary preparations require that arrangements be
made at least 6 months before the date of the wedding.
It will be expected that couples attend the sessions of
the Archdiocesan Sacramental Preparation Program for
Marriage.

Last year Pope Francis wrote a beautiful
Apostolic Exhortation that challenges
each of us to embrace the Joy of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and share that joy
with all whom we encounter. Join us as we break open our
Holy Father’s letter so our hearts can be filled with the joy of
Jesus. Mass will be celebrated. We will meat on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm at Nativity Parish Center, 625 West Street Rd in Warminster. Cost of

PAJAMA COLLECTION
MONTH OF FEBRUARY
February begins our annual pajama collection for St. Christopher’s
Hospital. They are down to 20
pairs of pajamas. This is amazing
since last year we sent 500 pairs. I
learned that the cancer department
of the hospital also relies on dressing their patients in your pajamas.
This certainly is good news to hear that the nurses all over St.
Christopher’s Hospital know to use the pajamas, this is a
blessing. It appears that our pajamas are an integral part of
the well being of the children. So...our work is cut out for us
this year. The sizes are from Newborn to Size 14. It is
heartwarming that now our love has been extended to all the
children. Thanking you in advance for all your support.

will be presented by Fr. John Petrikovic, OFM, Cap. Fr. John is a Capuchin Franciscan friar priest in the fulltime ministry of preaching, offering workshops on Franciscan topics, and retreats for men and women. This is
a great opportunity for all PREP parents and guardians to experience a time of inspired reflection led by a vibrant speaker to rekindle your faith that may have been lying dormant this winter. Shake off the winter doldrums and set your spirit on fire with Fr. John.

CYO SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION: Registration for baseball, softball, track and high
school co-ed volleyball is now open. Baseball and softball are grades 5 through 8, track is grades 4

FESTIVAL OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP
On Saturday, January 24th 140 teens from St. Cyril’s and eleven other parishes in Bucks County participated in a full day of Praise
and Worship with Bob Rice and his ban from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. We wish to sincerely thank all of the
Priests and parishioners from St. Cyril’s as well as Priests and youth ministers from surrounding parishes that helped in so many
ways to make this event so successful. It was a Grace filled day for our youth and for our parish.
THEOLOGY OF THE BODY FOR TEENS-A NEW LANGUAGE FOR A NEW GENERATION
WHO: All youth level 9-12
WHAT: St. John Paull II delivered a profoundly beautiful vision of human sexuality that he called the Theology of the Body. It is
revolutionizing the way parents and educators teach morality and chastity to teens, as it provides the “whys” behind the “what’s”
paving the way to true freedom and happiness.
WHEN: February 5th to March 5th. Five consecutive Thursday evening’s. 7:00 - 8:30pm.
WHERE: Social Hall
WHY: Our values need to be communicated in a positive way. Our teens are looking for this. They want to know. This is not a
sex education program. It is a chastity program.
We will accept an unlimited number but need a minimum registration of 15 to run the program. Registration will be closed January

MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY OF SERVICE
This past Monday, fourteen of our teens participated in a Martin Luther King Day of Service sponsored by the Center for Faith Justice in Lawrenceville, NJ. They were Dalton Topley, Mary Duffner, Kelly Duffner, Erin Fitzsimmons, Blake Fitzsimmons, Blake
DeGroot, Erich Eads, Molly Taylor, Matthew Kubit, Shawn Malone, Jaime Dougherty, Gabby Gutierrez, Jasmyn Niedrist, and Chelsea Malone. Thanks to Helen Duffner and Becky Fitzsimmons for driving and chaperoning. Our youth worked at a Nursing Home
and at a Thrift Shop. From Mrs. Duffner - “Our group was so good and I know they got a lot out of being with those in a nursing
home. It was very interactive with the residents-reading to them, and a few made bracelets for them and played Connect 4 with
them. We asked a lot of questions to get them talking about themselves. We all helped clean up after lunch. It was a great day.”
My group at the thrift shop was fantastic. They worked very hard, putting away goods coming in, cleaning shelves and straightening
and organizing the goods already there. We also had a lot of fun. Lots of laughs. Great kids! All of them.
