Restorative Yoga Restorative Yoga is a practice of supported asanas designed to achieve a state of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Through the use of props, the physical stress of yoga poses is eliminated to elicit a feeling of being cradled and protected. Experiencing these passive asanas for several minutes at a time allows the mind, senses and emotions to perform important work and minimize that done by the muscles.
