Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Position Overview Direct Holdings, the exclusive marketer of Time Life music and video products, and headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, is looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing to join the eCommerce Digital Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team that is spearheading the organization’s shift to a customer-centric digital media and marketing business. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Sr. Manager will serve as an internal provider of online marketing and advertising services within a Direct Response environment to develop and execute our digital marketing strategy across paid search and display, web content, social media, affiliate, mobile, native and programmatic advertising and other emerging channels. The Sr. Manager will also work closely with the Sr. Digital Analyst and Digital Marketing Director to ensure strategies are aligned with paid media. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Work with Director, Digital Marketing to manage online marketing acquisition and online demand and engagement generation for Starvista Time Life, Wolfgang Pressure Oven, Live Entertainment (3 music-themed cruises), and other secondary business lines Create and analyze targeted campaigns that deliver relevant communication and offers to our customers based on past on-site behavior and purchases Manage external partners in the areas of email, paid search, SEO, affiliate, display, and other channels to deliver results Partner with internal stakeholders including marketing, entertainment, operations as well as external stakeholders including suppliers, agencies, developers and marketing partners. Develop and execute digital marketing plans that significantly increase awareness, engagement, traffic and conversion of new customers Develop and execute customer loyalty/referral program to drive ongoing leads and sales Dramatically accelerate e-commerce sales by generating qualified leads and driving qualified traffic into converting sales Provide thought-leadership on digital marketing by remaining current on trends, our competitive landscape, and best practices Work side by side with eCommerce team to identify site, conversion, or other digital opportunities based on product marketing strategies and customer profiling Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing digital marketing initiatives that scale to support the requirements of growing organization and business Deep understanding of the digital environment and evolving tools and platforms used to improve online business Prior experience leading and developing a team of digital marketing professionals, as well as managing third-party agencies and other partners Superior analytical skills with proficiency using tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics Financially astute, with full understanding of how an e-commerce P & L works, and the relationships/tradeoffs marketing spend, demand, sales, margin, ROI, and other financial metric Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (or related), MBA preferred Five to seven years of marketing experience with at least four years digital marketing experience including expertise in paid search, SEO, Affiliate, Display, Email, Mobile Marketing, and Social Media About Direct Holdings Global: Direct Holdings Global, most notably associated with the success of the Time Life brand, is a multi-channel marketer, distributor, and leader in entertainment and lifestyle direct-toconsumer marketing.
