Sunday Morning Service: 10am
WELCOME
A BIG welcome to the Lighthouse Community Church and especially if you are visiting us today for the first time.
If you need anything, please chat to one of our ‘welcomers’ at the door.
We have various children’s programmes available – for the youth, grades 8 to 12 (Impakt); for grades 3 to 7 (Rocks); and ages 3 to grade
2 (Pebbles) and these commence mid-way through the morning service.
The noticeboard at the back of the auditorium and the information desk in the main foyer have more about who we are and what we are
about. The yellow slips in the Bibles at the back of the seats are available for any requests for prayer or comments you wish to make.
We invite you to leave your contact details so that one of our pastoral team can call you to see if you need any further information.
We would love for you to stay and have a cuppa with us following the worship service at Café LCC and we pray that you are blessed by
God during your time amongst us today.

Colossions 4:2
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
First term of school is almost upon us, and
these positions are needing to be filled: a
Leader for the Rocks (8-12 yr olds) and
helpers for that small group, and more so,
helpers for the larger Pebbles (3-7 yr olds)
group to assist Jenny Kempson. If you have
helped out before, or if you have never
ventured, please consider taking a turn!
Helpers can work on a roster system so the
commitment is not huge.

For those wishing to give their offerings or
tithes electronically, the church’s account
details are:
Charles Spurgeon said ‘that whenever our Lord gives you a special
inclination to pray, you should double your diligence’.
There is much to pray about, so let us feel the special longing to pray and
feel a special enjoyment in it, over and above the command that
compels us to cheerful obedience.
Prayer
is a vital part of our Church life and each
Sunday morning before the service we
meet for prayer in the room next to the
Pastor’s office.
9.30 A.M. TO 9.45 A.M.

Praise and thank God for those that faithfully gather here each week to
pray too – committed to seeking God in their lives, praying for those
who need healing, for those who are going through difficult times,
those struggling with health problems, and so much more.

With the young people back at school this past week, and all that means to
busy mornings for parents, especially mothers – ‘Please God give the
Mums sufficient strength for the daily schedules with their families’.


Some of our young people have already gone to Uni and Colleges to study
in a new environment - and others returned to where they were
studying last year – Tim in Melbourne, and Joseph in Sydney – pray for
all these students in the varied studies they are undertaking. We
thank God for His answers to prayer for Audrey L who is able to study
in this state at Flinders. Continue to pray for each of them often.
Last Sunday we were reminded about the young people in Indonesia that
Agus continues to mentor via mobile – And thank God that each one
listens and learns from Agus, and Jakki, and pray that we will continue
to be strengthened in their walk with Jesus, and as they share the
Gospel message with those around them in the villages.

We welcome Heather’s sister – Felicia, from South Africa – and trust that
you have a wonderful time with your family here, and with the people
that gather in this place to worship and listen to God.

Remember to pray for those who are unwell....Hans and Bette J, especially,
and also Sue W’s brother. Also continue to pray for Bec H’s Mum now
returned home.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this
is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
