USA BOXING MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE/SOCIAL MEDIA Summary: The Member Services Representative shall first and foremost provide excellent customer service to our members. He/she may handle a wide range of administrative and support-related tasks and should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This person must have excellent computer skills, be well organized, creative, energetic, friendly, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of working in a small office. In addition to providing customer service support regarding membership, this position will have duties related to updating our website and social media communications. The Member Services Representative shall have the ability to interact with a diverse group of members through telephone calls and emails, sometimes under pressure in a fast paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are important. Responsibilities: • • • • • • • • • • • • Handle telephone calls and emails related to member services Perform data entry as needed Perform all tasks in our database related to member services Maintain the files and oversees the event sanctioning process for all LBCs Serve as main liaison with our insurance provider for certificates of liability for both clubs and sanctions Process the initial membership of physicians May assist with processes and shipping supply order requests Take a leadership role in planning and helping to implement the yearly Physician’s Symposium. Likely to require attending this symposium Assist with updating our website Manage and post social media communications to include Facebook and Twitter Assist in Annual Meeting planning and preparation Other duties as assigned Requirements: • • • • • Excellent customer service skills to include strong written and verbal communication Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Facebook, Twitter Prior database and website experience is desired Bilingual in Spanish is not required, but would be a plus Compensation and Benefits $15.00 - $21.00/hour based on experience Very generous benefits package to include health, vision, dental, paid vacation and sick leave, 403(b). Position type: Full-Time Non-exempt; 40 hours per week, M-F, occasional travel and overtime may be required.
