WELCOME HIGHLAND VISITORS: Welcome to
our services at 8:30 and 11:00 this morning! Bible
classes meet at 9:45. Greeters are available at the
Welcome Center to provide information about the
classes that are available.
University: We begin with ONE, at 9:45 this
morning in Room 207, followed by class. For more

The Monday Night Women’s Class: Tomorrow
evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm we will continue the
Beth Moore study, To Live is Christ, based on the
life of the Apostle Paul.
Tuesday Morning Ladies’ Classes: We will begin
our new studies this Tuesday, February 3. Meet at
9:00 am for coffee and refreshments, and at 9:30
am for your choice of three classes. The Quilters
are continuing to meet in Room 109. The At His
Feet class is beginning the Priscilla Shirer video
study titled Breathe, meeting in Room 110. Books
can be purchased at the first class. The General
Class in Room 111 will conclude their study from
last semester on How We Got the Bible, and then
begin a study of the book of Esther, led by Judy
Thomas.
Lifeteam Leaders Lunch: Lifeteam Leaders are
invited next Sunday, February 8, at 12:30, following
second service, in Room 207. Please RSVP to
[email protected]. Childcare is provided.
Mothers of Preschoolers: The next MOPS
meeting will be Monday, February 9, at 9:00 am in
Room 207. Childcare is provided in Room 113.
Door-to-Door Ministry
Highland volunteers will assist disabled and elderly
guests as they exit their vehicles near the South
Atrium and Office entrances to the building. We
want to be a welcoming presence to guests and
members, and demonstrate our love for Christ
and for others in a very practical way. If you
would like to become involved in the Door-to-Door
Ministry, please contact Scott Riggins at riggins3@

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE: Wednesday Night
Bible continues this Wednesday in the Auditorium.
Join us for a great time of coffee, desserts, and
conversation. Ben Pickett and Derran Reese are
leading a 5-week series called “Jesus Followers…”
Restoration Week: Adults interested in
volunteering during Restoration Week, March 8-14,
please stop by the table in the Atrium this morning
to sign up. T-shirts are also for sale at the table for
anyone who would like one!
THE CHURCH SCATTERED
Wednesday at Freedom Fellowship: The meal
begins at 6:00, followed by praise and worship
7:00 pm. Jim Clark will be speaking and will lead a
discussion on racial reconciliation. It will include a
prayer of confession, repentance, and restoration of
our hearts, that we would love everyone like Jesus,
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Wednesday Nights at Grace: The meal will
begin at 6:00 pm, followed by praise time and Bible
class. David Kneip will lead a study introducing the
Gospel of Luke.
Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast: All
Community Ministry Volunteers are invited
Saturday, February 7, at 8:30 am to the Christian

Faith and Finance$ Class: A Few Spots Are Left!

The Hyphen Initiative: Mission Resource Network
will host the Hyphen Initiative informational meeting
on Saturday, February 28, from 1:00-4:00 pm at
1903 Central Drive, Suite 420, Bedford, Texas.
HYPHEN is dedicated to equipping churches to
engage English Dominant Latinos (EDL) by helping
congregations become more Latino friendly, help
develop EDL campuses, and plant new churches
targeting EDL’s. Contact 817-938-0077 to RSVP

3-D MINISTRY
ONE: We begin class this morning at 9:45 am in
Room 207 with all of 3D Student Ministry including
6th Grade through College Age worshiping
together as one. After this worship time, we will
go to our three separate classes – University, High
School, and Middle School.
High School Mission Trip: If you are a current
9th-12th grade student interested in going on our
High School Mission Trip on June 21-26, please
attend an informational meeting TODAY in the High
School Classroom during class time, following
ONE. Parents are encouraged to attend this
meeting as well.
All 6th Grade Students: You are invited to a
football party this evening, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm
(or the end of the game) at the home of Steve and
Jennifer Eller at 2601 Shoreline Drive. Kick-off is
at 5:30 pm. Please bring $3.00 to help cover the
cost of snacks. There will be a prize given out
during each quarter.
Out to Lunch at Mann Middle School:
Jeremy and Wes will be going to Mann MS this
Wednesday, February 4, during lunch! If you go to
school at Mann, please look for them!
Faith Decisions Blessing is this Wednesday,
February 4, from 6:45 to 8:00 pm in the Middle
School Classroom. Parents, remember to bring
your blessing letter. We will only have time for
one letter to be read per family. Please limit the
blessing to 2-3 minutes. You will not want to miss
this amazing night! The room will be open at 6:00
pm if your family want to have dinner together and
work on your journals.
Planet Wisdom: If you have returned an
application and payment, watch your mail for a
postcard with a packing list and instructions for
drop-off and pick-up.
All High School Parents are invited to a
Restoration Week meeting next Sunday, February
8, during class time in the Middle School
Classroom. Jeremy and Sarah will go over the
details of the week. You will not want to miss this
informational meeting!
Restoration Week: All 6th-12th grade students
are invited to our first in-town Spring Break
mission trip on March 8-14. Join us as we become
the hands and feet of Jesus while serving and
ministering to our neighbors and the community
surrounding our building. Your completed
application and $40.00 non-refundable payment is
due by Sunday, February 22. Or you can register

ACU Leadership Camps: Registration for the
ACU Leadership Camps continues! This year
we will be going to Kadesh 1 from June 7-13,
and MPulse 2 from June 28-July 3. Camps fill up
quickly! Register at www.acucamps.com as soon
as you can.
HIS KIDS MINISTRY
HIS KIDS Worship: Preschool children, ages 3-5,
are invited to Room 113, off the South Foyer.
Nursery Suite: Childcare is available for babies,
newborn through 30 months, in the attended
Nursery off the South Foyer. The Mom’s Nursery
and Family Room are for parents who wish to stay
with their child. Changing tables are available in
the men’s and women’s restrooms in the hall north
of the Atrium.
Older Two’s Childcare: Childcare for 31 through
36 months is available during both services in the
Upstairs Twos Classroom, off the North Foyer.
Sunday Scribes: Bags containing a scribe pad
and crayons are provided for your children to
use. Please return to the bins in the foyers after
worship!
Daddy/Daughter Dinner and Dance: Make plans
for this very special annual event! Dress up and
enjoy this lovely evening, Friday, February 20,
from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Cost is $10.00 per person,
and scholarships are available. Make your dinner
reservations by February 17, either to HisKids on
Facebook, or email [email protected], or
call 673-5295.
