DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION PRESS RELEASE Nº26/ 24th AU SUMMIT The AU Executive Council Elects Members of some Organs Addis Ababa, 28 January 2015 – The 26th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council elected, on 28th of January 2015, at the African Union (AU) Headquarters, members of some Organs of the AU. These Organs are: the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption and the African Union Commission on International Law (AUCIL). The Executive Council also elected the President and VicePresident of the Pan African University Council (PAU) as well as the Host Country for its Rectorate. The Executive Council further elected Mr. Tolly S. MBWETTE as President of the Pan African University and Mr. Paulo Horácio de Sequeira e CARVALHO as Vice- President for a 3-year term, respectively. Finally, the Executive Council elected the Republic of Cameroon as the Host Country for the PAU Rectorate. These elections are to be endorsed by the 24th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Union scheduled for 30 and 31 January 2015.
