THE SHOW
This highly-publicized annual outdoor show will be held over Memorial Day weekend (May 23, 24 &
25, 2015) in beautiful downtown Prescott, Arizona. Please note there are rules and regulations pertaining to the use of the Courthouse Plaza that are NOT rules of the PHIPPEN MUSEUM. These rules
must be complied with during the show and will be provided in the artist acceptance packet sent to
you once your artwork has been juried and accepted. The PHIPPEN MUSEUM will promote the
Art Show extensively in national advertisements, newspaper & magazine articles and internet &
broadcast media. Furthermore, prize money has been allocated for this year’s winning artists.
ELIGIBILITY
The show is open to all artists submitting work featuring Art of the American West in the following seven media categories: Acrylic, Drawing, Mixed Media, Oil, Pastel, Sculpture and Watercolor. Awar ds will be given in each medium category. However, par ticipation in any of the museum’s previous shows does not guarantee acceptance.
IMPORTANT DATES
Deadline for Jury Applications: All entries MUST be postmarked no later than January 1st, 2015
Notifications of jury decision will be mailed by February
1st, 2015
Booth Payment is due by March 15th, 2015

Attention: 40th Annual Show & Sale
BOOTH INFORMATION
There are approximately 120 booth spaces
available. Artists will be allocated a minimum of 10’ x 15’ space for a booth. Electrical power is available for a limited number of booths (at an additional fee). Artists
must provide their own display equipment,
lighting, extension cords, etc. Canopies are
recommended, but not required. Further
information concerning site specifics will
be provided with the artist acceptance
packet.
If juried into the show, all fees, including
the booth fee of $450, will be due by
March 15th, 2015. Do not send fees until
notified of acceptance. Booth spaces are
assigned on a first-paid basis. All r evenue from the sale of the artwork will be retained by the artist. However, artists are
responsible for any sales taxes.

JURY & SELECTION PROCESS
With the Jury Application(s) please
include:
 Four (4) photographs 3” x 5” or 4” x
6” of four separate pieces completed
within the past 24 months. (Please do
NOT send mor e than four photographs or photographs larger than the
sizes noted.)
 Label each photo on the back with
artist’s name, dimension of the artwork,
medium and category to be juried.
 Jury fee of $25 (non-refundable), postmarked no later than January 1st, 2015.
There will be a 2nd jury process for applications postmarked after 1/1/2015.
However, those late applications require
a $50.00 (non-refundable) fee per
category.
NOTE: Photos submitted for jury
consideration will not be returned.

The nature of submissions must be themed
Art of the American West and images submitted must be representative of the art that
will be displayed if accepted into the show.
Functional art will not be considered by the
jury panel. Artists’ works are not identified
by name during the jury process. Jurying is
conducted by a panel of experienced art professionals and is based solely upon the quality of work as illustrated in submitted photo-
