Second Collection This Weekend November 12/13 Christmas Flowers offering Second Collection Next Weekend November 19/20 Our Lady of Lourdes School Month of November All Souls In the tradition of the Catholic Church, the month of November is set aside for the remembrance of All Souls. Each Mass during November will be dedicated to every person listed on the all souls envelops for our parish and the list will be placed at the altar. You may place your All Souls envelopes bearing the names of your relatives and friends in the designated basket or drop it off at the parish office. The names of those, whose death anniversaries fall in the month of November will be announced specially. Please make sure to write the date of their death anniversaries. Like in the past we have a memorial altar for those who wish to bring a picture of their love ones. Please make sure that it has your name and phone number in the back. You may bring them at any time during the month of November. Community Thanksgiving Service Mark your calendars! Our Lady of Lourdes will host an ecumenical community sing and prayer service. Come join us and our local Christian churches. A collection for the Community Christian Assistance Program will be taken. On Sunday November 20, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Thanksgiving Day Dinner Once again, Our Lady of Lourdes Church is joining other local churches, to provide a Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The Rite of Christian Initiation for adults is for people 18years and older who have not been baptized, or received first Communion, or Confirmation. Altar Server Training Farther Matt will have an altar serving training for all those who would like to be an altar server and for those current altar servers that missed the last training. It is open to anyone who is in fourth grade or older. Yes, adults are also welcome to be altar servers. The training will take place on November 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church. MONASTIC IMMERSION WEEKEN Pray like a Monk: Monastic Prayer retreat The monks of Our Lady of New Clairvaux Abby invite single Catholic men ages 18-35 to immerse themselves in the ancient yet living monastic tradition for the weekend of Dec. 16-18. A special theme of this year’s Weekend is Monastic prayer.
