Archdiocese of New York
Last year our community here at Holy
Name was so generous to fill the
HOUR CHILDREN and INCARNATION Kids with their Christmas wish
list that we collected over 400 gifts.
Once again we are asking for your help
in filling out their Christmas wish list.
HOUR CHILDREN: Founded in 1986. HOUR CHILDREN
was named to acknowledge the important hours that shape the
life of a child with an incarcerated mother– the hour of his
mother’s arrest, the hour of their visit and the hour of her release. HOUR CHILDREN’s mission is to help incarcerated
and formerly incarcerated women and their children successfully rejoin the community, reunify with their families, and
build healthy, independent and secure lives. We will also continuing to help and support The Incarnation Children’s Center. New York City’s only skilled nursing facility providing
specialized care for children and adolescents living with HIV/
AIDS.
The ornaments will be placed on the Giving Tree of Hope on
the First Sunday of Advent, November 29th. Please take an
ornament and return your gift donation unwrapped to the Parish Office no later than Wednesday, December 16. Thank you
once again for your kindness and generosity. If you have any
question, call the Parish Office at 212-749-0276 ext. 112
