I ask that you please read all the information and talk about it with your family. The motivation to do this is that we presently spent $107,000 on interest this past year, while paying only $50,000 on principal on a loan that is now down to $1.6 million. If we continue spending $150,000 on this for the next 10 years, our debt will be just under $1 million and we will have spent $878,000 in interest. If we meet the $250,000 match this year, plus donations from the top 100 donors to pay off $700,000 this year, $300,000 the second year and $200,00 the third year, our debt will be $140,000 and we will have spent $180,000 in interest. It is easy to see the savings, short and long term, of $700,000 over the next 10 years that could be used for maintenance and capital improvements on our beautiful campus. It is important to use our resources well and not waste them paying interest. Please consider the gift you would like to give above what you presently give to help us get ahead of our situation and not let it weigh us down. Have a Blessed Week! Father Paul We Share Our Blessings This week, our Parish Tithe will be given to Wonder Lake Neighbors Food Pantry.
