All of us at Long Beach Catholic Regional School (a Middle States Accredited Elementary School)
are happily awaiting the arrival of Catholic Schools’ Week which takes place from January 31st
through February 5th. During this time, we join with other Catholic Schools throughout the
Nation to recognize the wonderful gifts and achievements that are ours. This year’s theme is “Faith.
Academics. Service.” During our Open Houses, we would like to share with all of our parents and
friends the “good news” that is taking place here in our school. This fun-filled and exciting week
will provide many activities for our children and their families.
This week will begin with an opening liturgy at the 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Ignatius Martyr Church
on Sunday, January 31st . This will be immediately followed with an Open House in the school
extending from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. All interested applicants, parishioners and current school
families are invited to stop by. Information on our academic programs and after school activities
will be available in the gym. Tours will be given by our Student Council members. There will also
be an Open House on Monday, February 1st from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Call-in registrations will take
place during the first week of February. Please check the bulletins for the specific dates and times of
registration.
For more information, please check our school website (lbcrs.org) or call 516-432-8900.
