Many thanks to the staff members who planned the event and all those who helped by cooking and cleaning up. It was a great event. I think we can plan for more such events starting in the month of September. I am told that the weather in September in Boise is great. By then, our friends at Intermountain Gas will have donated another barbeque to us. So I look forward to getting to know more of you in the future. Again, many thanks! Fr. Su amigo y servidor ~ Padre Jesús Camacho A message from Fr. Jesus Camacho Humility is rooted in the ‘humus’ that nourishes the earth; a humble person is a realist who is aware of his worth. Saint Teresa of Avila said, "Humility is walking in the truth." Jesus is the most excellent example of humility (Mt 11,29). In the Good News, Jesus teachs us that those who serve (Mt 20, 26-28), those who are like children (Mt 18,3), and those who humble themselves (Mt 23,12), will be rewarded. Saint Paul exhorts us to be humble, highlighting the true motivation to follow Christ (Phil 2, 7-8). Your friend and servant ~ Father Jesus Camacho ANNUAL SAN IGNATIUS MASS The Boise Basque Community invites you to celebrate the annual festival in honor of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
