Bubble Wonder
This month we’re looking at the science and wonder of
bubbles. Everyone’s blown a soap bubble before, but
have you ever blown a bubble in a bubble, sculpted
things out of bubbles, or blown thousands of bubbles at
the same time? We’ll be showing you how to do these,
and making a special kind of bubble maker that can
make millions in just minutes! Come with us and
discover just how much you can do with a little soap and
water! This is a science for all ages. You can sign up on
our online calendar, or by asking one of our friendly
librarians, even over the phone. You can call us at 7812351, and we hope to see you there!
Simple Soldering and Electronics for Kids R
Tuesday, February 24 at 4:00 pm
We live in an increasingly technological
world and today we’re delving into the basic
techniques that are used to build, modify
and fix that technology: soldering. Have you
ever wondered how computer parts are put together? Well
now you can see it, and try it for yourself! Participants will
learn the proper way to solder with a soldering pick as they
put together a functioning and ornamental LED.
A parent or other adult’s assistance may be required during
the project. This activity is open to those age 8 and older.
Group sizes will be kept small with the hands-on nature of
this work, but friends or family members are welcome to
come and learn by watching.

announcements may be impacted due to internet and/or electrical outages. We make every attempt to notify the
