With appropriate training you should be able to deputise for the Plant Manager and Production Manager in their absence. On a day to day basis you will also manage a small team of electrical and maintenance craftsmen to carry out planned and reactive maintenance. You will be able to implement and manage planned maintenance systems. Demonstrable skills in the use and development of maintenance management systems would be useful, particularly experience of SAP software. Although training can be given full computer literacy will be required. To be an ideal candidate, you will be educated to HND or Degree level in Engineering. You will have proven experience and programming skills in PLC and SCADA systems. It is essential that you are used to working flexible hours.
