JAN 23-25, 2015 Sunshine, snow and plenty of hot chocolate made for a smooshingly successful T-81 Klondike campout at Camp Lowden. Falcon patrol edged out Phoenix for the overall win, with Bull pushing them both hard (helped by a couple Cobras). The challenging course put together by snow sports specialist Mr. Loback included smoosh-board and snowshoe races, fire building, pole-raising, knot tying, the tugof-war-turned-tractor-pull and of course the all-terrain Iditarod. We ate like kings thanks to Mrs. Clair and her band of merry parents on the cook crew. At the end of the day the scouts piled into a heated cabin for a night of chillin’ by the fireplace. Thanks again to everyone who came out to help the troop! MTG.
