TO: GNATHOS PARTICIPANTS FROM: GNATHOS SOUTH (www.Gnathos-South.com) RE: ADVANCED BIOMECHANICS XXII COURSE CHECK OUT: www.Gnathos-South.com for new instructional videos ADVANCED BIOMECHANICS XXIII COURSE What I Know (30+ years of orthodontic successes and failures with tricks and treats for everyone) Dates: Jan 30 & Jan 31, 2015 Location: Jupiter, Florida JUPITER BEACH RESORT and SPA (Check it out @ jupiterbeachresort.com) Time: 8:30AM-5:30 PM Friday/ 8:30-4:00PM Saturday Rates: ocean view rooms $219 (special meeting rate… normally $289) Once again it is time to make your plans to attend the Advanced Biomechanics XXIII Course. For participants of previous 'Biomechanics' courses this program will be a combination of clinical techniques with direct correlation of specific treatment problems through the use of case presentations. At last year’s seminar I ask the group to submit ideas for topics for this year’s course. While there were numerous request to answer specific questions most of the request fell into two main categories. One was the continuing need for tips and techniques on finishing and detailing cases. The second (though perhaps more vague) was the request for me to put together my best tips and tricks I have acquired over the last 30+ years of orthodontics. Equally important in this category was the interest in seeing things that didn’t work as well as things that did and what things have stood the test of time. So this year’s seminar will seek to address these items (including answering some of the specific questions that were asked to be addressed). Multiple cases will be utilized to demonstrate various aspects of mechanics and treatment modalities with particular interest paid to the best available ‘evidenced based information’. Additionally, multiple treatment ‘pearls’ will be shown to make your practice easier and more efficient. Participants Case Consultations Participant’s individual cases will be reviewed at 5:30PM on Friday and 4:00PM on Saturday after the course. Please respect the 2 case maximum. Should you decide to bring the records on a case from your office, be sure that it has been completely traced, analyzed, and treatment planned prior to our discussions. In order to give you an opinion, it is necessary that you present complete and accurate records, and that you follow the "analytical and cephalometric guide-lines" previously set.
