We are excited to announce Cryar’s “Dinner and
Show” fundraiser event, so mark your calendars
for Thursday, February 5th. Times will be
announced at a later date.
The night will be celebrated with performances
by the band, orchestra, and choir. Along with
the entertainment, a meal will be available for
purchase. More information will be provided in
the January Tuesday folders.

Parents, as we start a new semester, it is time
to replenish your child’s school supplies.
Make sure that your child has the following
items each day so that his/her best work can
be done:
*Pencils and pens (dozen of each)
*Notebook paper (several reams)
*Erasers (several)
*Glue Sticks (2 or 3)
*Boxes of tissues for runny noses

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS for Students and Parents
Students . . .
*I will do my homework and classwork each day, and I will use my very best behavior at all times.
*I will come to school on time everyday.
*I will not leave early unless there is a family emergency or a doctor or dentist appointment.
*I will make sure that I have all my school supplies for each class.
*I will bring to school everything that I should have for the day – backpack, homework, band/orchestra instrument,
lunch or lunch money.
*I will keep up with my coats/jackets so that they do not end up in the LOST and FOUND.
*I will check out more library books and will read everyday.
*I will clean out my locker and keep it straight and orderly.
*I will exercise more, play outside, and watch less TV.
*I will eat less junk food and improve my diet.
*I will try my hardest to be a model student.
Parents . . .
*I will make sure my child is not late for school.
*I will not pick up my child early for my convenience.
*I will help my child with homework each night.
*I will check each Tuesday’s folder for the information sent home by the teacher and the front office.
*I will help my child get organized each night for the next school day.
*I will make sure that my child has a healthy sack lunch or money in his/her lunch account.
