Horizon LC make every effort to ensure classes and courses run in accordance to the timetable, however, please note that classes and courses may be subject to change or cancellation. A great way to burn calories and increase fitness levels. Body Blast Short explosive bursts of high intensity training with short periods of recovery. Best way to increase fitness levels, build strength, tone muscle and burn calories. Les Mills Body Combat Inspired by martial arts including Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai; strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior fitness levels. Body Conditioning A low impact warm up using various equipment and exercises for toning the whole body. Les Mills Body Pump A barbell class that strengthens your entire body by using exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, and your choice of weights inspire you to get the results you came for. Body Tone Gym based classes and sessions Cycle A really effective, motivating calorie burning/ cardiovascular workout on our indoor bikes that involves no routines or need for co-ordination. Fab Abs Works on tightening abdominal muscles and strengthening your lower back together to build a strong body core. Family Gym Session 30 minute interval training class anyone can fit into a busy lifestyle. Designed to decrease body fat and boost your fitness in a quick session. Insanity Express Circuits Functional Training A 50 minute high intensity workout. Interval training using no equipment with short intense blocks, short recovery pushing you to your limits. 30 minute circuit class to fit in during your lunchbreak to boost fitness levels and complete an all over toning session. 30 minute class using functional training exercises focusing on movements rather than being led by machines to boost fitness, body strength and tone. Legs, Bums and Tums Teen Workout Tone these areas of the body with low impact aerobics and resistance equipment. 10-15 year old sessions on cardio and resistant circuit equipment only. Inductions need to be booked and paid for in advance. Step Aerobics An exercise class to music incorporating a step to add more movement. A fun way to increase your fitness levels. Using hand weights and dyna bands a great way to tone the whole body from top to toe. This Latin style dance class features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning calories. Boxercise Zumba Gold Work out to music using boxing and martial art moves. Great fun, leave feeling tough! It is a fusion of Latin and international music and allows older participants and less fit participants to enjoy a Latin style dance class. It is less energetic than regular Zumba. Circuit Training / Gym Circuits HIITS A combo of fitness and strength work using multiple stations. A great way to work the body in a quick and intense way. Aqua Fitness 8 Aqua Classes Waterworks Exercise in the pool using water as extra resistance to make muscles work harder. Pilates is a fantastic tehnique for strengthening and balancing all the muscles of the body to help rehabilitate and prevent injury. It improves posture and range of movement. Hatha Flow Yoga Hatha Flow Yoga is for people interested in exploring a movement-oriented class. Flow-based Hatha Yoga builds strength , endurance and a strong focus. Fitness Yoga A contemporary yoga class to music incorporating Yoga and Pilates exercises. Focusing on improving overall body strength and flexibility. Suitable for all abilities. Strengthen your inner body muscles with Pilates, improving posture and back strength. This is a more energetic form of Pilates. Pilates Postual Courses A more gentle Pilates catering for participants with chronic injuries who want to improve posture, flexibility and balance in the body. Smaller numbers than regular classes. Starts week beginning 5th january 2015 Horizon Leisure Centres are fully accessible with ramps, lifts and wheelchair access to all areas. Hoists are available to access swimming pools if required. Both centres have designated changing and toilet facilities in wet and dry areas. Crèche The Crèche at Havant Leisure Centre provides a safe and fun environment for your children aged up to 6 years. The Crèche is fully registered with OFSTED and all of our Crèche staff hold nationally recognised childcare qualifications. Let us look after your children while you exercise or relax with the many activities on offer at Havant Leisure Centre. Free for Platinum Members Max. 2hrs Parking Havant Parking at Havant is available adjacent to the Leisure Centre in the Havant Borough Council car park. Parking is charged Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm and a 24 hour charge at weekends and Bank Holidays. Waterlooville Parking at Waterlooville is free to Horizon customers while using the centre. In addition there are a number of disabled priority spaces available.
