Post in the O/o Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court premises, Allahabad – 211001 in month of February 2012. 2. Provide the action taken against the application dated 22/03/2012, forwarded to Asst Director PO, Central Sub Division, Allahabad on 14/05/2012 for taking necessary action. If no action has been taken till date then provide the reason for the same and name, designation and complete address of the responsible officer. 3. Provide the complete details of the complete process of re-investigating if the complainant is not satisfied. Provide the name, designation, address and e-mail of the concerned officer. 4. Provide the complete address of the Sr. Supdt PO, Allahabad Division, Allahabad; Asst. Supdt.PO, Central Sub-Division, Allahabad, Sr. Supdt PO Lucknow, Lucknow Division and Sr. Supdt. Kanpur City Division, Kanpur. 5. Provide the name, designation, address and email id of the PIO and FAA of all the offices mentioned in point 4. Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present Page 1 of 2 Appellant: Mr. Vijay Kumar Sharma through VC M: 08574704655 Respondent: Mr. Rehmatullah CPIO’s representative through VC M: 09415045773 The appellant stated that the matter has been going on since long. He informed that he had sent a speed post addressed to O/o Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court premises, Allahabad which was returned undelivered with the remark ‘incomplete address’ and he wants to know why the article was not delivered when the addressee is well known. The CPIO informed that he has got the matter investigated and accepts the appellant’s contention that the addressee is well known. He accepted that the beat postman made a mistake in returning the article and agreed to forward a copy of the investigation report to the appellant. Decision notice: As agreed by the CPIO he should forward a copy of the investigation report to the appellant within 7 days from the date of receipt of this order. The CPIO should also provide the appellant the relevant extract of the record retention policy and the procedure for claiming compensation from the postal department.
