the signs and leave these spaces available
for those who need them. Juno Beach
Police will ticket violators $250.
COMMUNION PROCEDURES
Everyone who believes that Jesus
Christ is truly present in the
sacrament and sincerely wishes to
commune with Him is welcome to
participate in the celebration.
Children may come forward for
a blessing.
When you receive the wafer, you
may dip it into the wine (red) or
grape juice (white).
If you would like to participate in the
sacraments but are unable to come
forward, please inform an usher and
communion will be brought to you.
OUR SUPERVISED NURSERY IS
AVAILABLE this morning for infants and
one year olds in the Learning Center
Building, room 103.
THE KID
CONNECTION for 2-3 year olds meets at
9:30 in the Learning Center Building room
104. See the ushers for assistance.
BIBLE ACTIVITY BAGS AVAILABLE
FOR YOUNG CHILDREN during the
worship service. Please ask the ushers for
a bag. At the end of the service, return it
to the usher so a child at another service
can use the Bible Bag. The bags are
provided as a gift from Thrivent.
IF YOU’RE A FIRST-TIME VISITOR
TO OUR WORSHIP SERVICES we
have a gift for you to remember us by
and to learn more about our
congregation. Please stop by the
Hospitality Center on the patio and pick
up your gift!
ASSISTED HEARING DEVICES are
available for use at the beginning of each
service. These devices will help amplify
the sounds of the service to a comfortable
level for the hearing impaired. An assisted
hearing device would allow you to move
out of the sanctuary and not miss one
word. Please go to the sound booth to
check one out!
EVERYONE IS INVITED FOR
REFRESHMENTS out on the patio.
Please take a moment to share greetings
and joy with one another. Make some
new friends by introducing yourself to
others.

Prayer Ministry Small Group
We will be starting "Before Amen" by Max Lucado on Tuesday Feb. 3 at 6:30 PM in the

"‘Before Amen’ has a winning combination of simplicity and depth. This book is
appropriate for people who struggle to pray and for all who long to pray more effectively.
Max's 'pocket prayer' is brief but comprehensive; it helps readers turn to the Lord quickly
and easily....in all circumstances. ‘Before Amen’ is practical, enjoyable, and
inspiring." ~ Sarah Young, author of "Jesus Calling" and “Jesus Today."
So what is the "Pocket Prayer?" Come join us and find out! Please bring your
own book and read chapters 1 & 2 before our first session.

NEW F.E.A.S.T GROUPS FORMING IN 2015
Friends Eating And Socializing Together
Feast Groups are Full of Fun and Fellowship!
If you would like to get to know some of the wonderful people of
HSLC sign up today to be in a FEAST Group.
The group you are assigned will meet for dinner in each others’ homes, in a park, at the
beach or in a restaurant as many times as your group wants to and whenever your group
wants to - you set the date. It can be twice, 4 times or whatever your group
decides. Some groups that were formed in 2010 are still meeting! There are usually 6-8
people in a group.
When meeting in someone’s home, each person or couple brings something to share for
dinner (salad, dessert, side dish). The host provides the main course. The same 6-8 people
meet until each person or couple has had a chance to host their group. There is NO
agenda, except to make friends. Sign up at the Hospitality Center and we will contact you.

Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilts
Tied In Faith ~ Sent In Hope ~ Wrapped In Love
In 2013 Lutheran World Relief sent more than 485,931 quilts to people in over 21
countries. Quilts are sent to both communities in constant need and in response to
natural disasters all over the world. Although quilts can be used as bed coverings
(typically for several people), and warmth, they can also be used as a baby carrier, a
sack, a sunshade, a market display, a room divider, a shawl and many other ways most
of us couldn’t imagine. Quilts become so much more than a clean new blanket. They
serve as a reminder that someone, however distant, cares.
Lutheran World Relief has two large warehouses, located in Minnesota and Maryland.
After church today, our quilts will be packed and taken to Ft. Lauderdale, where they
will join quilts made by other congregations. Then they will be trucked to Maryland
where they will be sorted and baled, loaded on freighters and shipped to where they are
needed. They will then be distributed by LWR or one of its many partners, including
the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the Catholic Organization for Development
and Solidarity and International Orthodox Christian Charities. Thanks to a new quilt
tracker, we learned that Holy Spirit quilts went to the Philippines last year.
Each year our group has been growing so we are able to donate more quilts. By
themselves, they represent a small drop in the bucket. However, with hundreds of
Lutheran churches across America working together to make over 400,000 quilts
yearly, we are able to be a part of something that really makes a difference in the world.
