Here, the legacy of the Sinagua culture comes alive in their ancient, five-story cliff dwellings, some of the best preserved in North America. Next, we stop in Sedona, known for its rich Native American history and “New Age” culture. There will be time to explore before we continue to Grand Canyon National Park, stopping along the way to admire the dazzling water-carved landscapes of Oak Creek Canyon. Las Vegas Bryce Canyon National Park beauty of this spectacular natural wonder. Remarkably, the canyon stretches 277 miles long. Its multi-hued walls tell an epic geologic story, sculpted over millennia by the shifting earth and by the winding Colorado River that still courses on the canyon’s floor. The park’s courtesy shuttle offers stops at lookout points along the south rim. If an active day is preferred, bike rentals and trail maps are available. Educational options include tours of historic park buildings and talks with knowledgeable rangers. Our experienced Tour Director will be available to help plan activities that fulfill our adventure desires. A canyon sunset completes this thrilling day. Gratuities Tips for all the included features of your tour (baggage handling, included meals, etc.) will be taken care of by your Tour Director. Tips for meals on your own or for other services are at your discretion. Customary tips for the Tour Director & Driver are on a voluntary basis and given individually. Suggested gratuities will be provided with your tour documents. Train Routes & schedules Please note that train schedules and/or routes are subject to change by railroad passenger services.
