 The Allegan boys’ varsity basketball team fell to Vicksburg 74-41. Trey
Hoffman led the Tigers with 15.
 Attention all Volleyball players or girls interested in playing, there will be Open
Gyms at the high school every Sunday from 6-8 through March 8th.
 Snowcoming Week- This year Snowcoming theme is Hottest Hits.
Monday is the Instrumental version of the Lazy Song by Bruno Mars; dress
in comfy clothes.
Tuesday is Tuesday by I love Makonnen; wear your bling, baggy clothes, or
dress to impress.
Wednesday is Love me Harder by Ariana Grande; wear red, white and pink.
Thursday is The One that I Want by Grease; wear attire from the 50’s, 60’s,
70’s 80’s.
Friday is Welcome to the Jungle and Eye of the Tiger; wear Orange and
Black.
 Pool Fun Night! Friday, February 6th from 6:00-9:00 PM. Admission cost is
$5.00/person. Concessions available. Don’t miss out on the fun!!! Open to 8th
grade and under.
 Timber Ridge Ski Club 2014-15 pay-as-you-go student and adult information
and forms are available in the main office. Questions please call Mindy

 The APS Fieldhouse, behind the middle school, is open to the community for
walkers, joggers, during the following hours: 6:00-7:30 A.M. and 5:30-7:30
P.M. (Monday-Friday).
 The health care class at the tech center is selling shirts to fundraise money for
The American Heart Association. These shirts will be selling for $10. All the
money they raise will be donated to the American Heart Association. If
interested, see Caitlyn Boylan or Miryssa Hill with your size shirt, and the
money for your shirt!
 It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for! Valentine singing telegrams will be
available for purchase this coming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during
lunch. Telegrams will be delivered 4th and 5th hour next Friday, February 13th!
 Huge congratulations go out to Brianna Price on being selected to participate tin
All-State Honors Choir, this is quite a prestigious honor!
 Congrats to Jacob Hansen for earning the rank of Eagle Scout!
 Congrats to Megan Ver Hoeven, Beth Storey and Kierstin Baes who perform
with the ACE Winterguard. They won 2nd place at their competition on 1/31/15
at Lowell.
 Students interested in auditioning for The Cat in the Hat who took scripts need
to get those to Mrs. Sparks ASAP so others may also read the script prior to
auditions. Please also stop to see her to pick up the monologue you should
memorize for the auditions.
 Cell Phones- the media center is collecting cell phones. Please bring in your
unused cell phones to the media center. Collection is on-going, so bring them in
anytime.
 Community Service at the First Congregational Church in Allegan on
Thursdays. Show up at 4 P.M. to help prepare and serve dinners. Questions,

main office window. Please check this list and let Mrs. Fales know immediately
if your name is not listed correctly. This is the list that will be sent to Jostens.
