The Event
The event shall be a Non-Competitive Multi Club Come & Try Motorkhana and Khanacross and will be referred to as
the HSCCQ Come & Try Motorkhana & Khanacross.
Authority
The event is authorised by CAMS Permit No. 415/0102/02 and shall be conducted under the provisions of the
International Sporting Code of FIA and the NCRs of CAMS, the current CAMS Motorkhana &Khanacross
Regulations, the CAMS Passenger in Vehicle Guidelines, these Supplementary Regulations and any Further
Regulations, addenda and instructions as may be issued, subject to NCR 69 of the current CAMS Manual of Motor
Sport. This Event will be conducted under and in accordance with CAMS OH&S and Risk Management Policies,
which can be found on the CAMS website at www.cams.com.au
Insurance for this event will be provided in accordance with Appendix I of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
Promoters
The promoters of the event shall be the HOLDEN SPORTING CAR CLUB INCORPORATED, P.O. BOX 558
FORTITUDE VALLEY 4006.

Entries
Entries open upon publication of these Regulations and close at the venue 9.15 am 1/02/2015
The entry fee shall be $45.00 Adults and $30.00 Juniors and must be submitted with the Event Secretary prior to the
event accompanied by an official entry form. The maximum number of entries will be 70, accepted in order of receipt.
Entries may be refused in accordance with NCR 83 of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
Licences
Day Membership of HSCCQ and CAMS Level 1 Come & Try Day licences will be available from the event Secretary
for the event.
All competitors must be a member of a CAMS affiliated club and be in possession of a relevant and current CAMS
licence L1, L2NS, L2NSJ or superior. Such licence must be presented to the secretary of the event. All partnerships and
registered companies must hold a CAMS Competitors Licence.
Abandonment
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event if the total number of competitors is less than twenty (25). The
event may be altered, postponed, abandoned or cancelled at the sole discretion of the organisers, subject to the
provisions of NCR 59 of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
Venue
The event shall be conducted at, Willowbank Raceway 1st February 2015. The type of surface shall be
sealed.
Timetable
Scrutiny will start at the venue at 8.30 am. 1/02/2015. A briefing of competitors will be held at 9.30 am. The event
shall start at 10.00 am.
Use of Prohibited Substances
During any event, consumption of alcoholic beverages in the paddock, pits or any other portion of the competition
venue under the control of the officials is expressly forbidden until all practice or competition activity is concluded for
each day. Any driver or crew member who is found to be affected by alcohol on the day of the event or practice
therefore shall not be permitted to participate. Refer NCR 145A and 145B of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. In
addition, the persons concerned will be subject to the articles of the Standard Operating Procedure for Alcohol Testing,
the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy and the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy. Competitors, crews or
officials may be randomly tested for alcohol by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) or other drugs at any
time during the event(s). Other Prohibited Substances: the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy, as appears in the CAMS
Manual of Motor Sport, and as amended from time to time, recognised as an integral component of the NCR and is
duly authorised as such. In any areas where the National Competition Rules and the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy
conflict, the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy will apply. Additionally, in any areas where the National Competition Rules
and the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy conflict, the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing)
Policy will apply.
Scrutiny
Vehicles shall comply with General Requirements for Cars & Drivers Schedule A and Group 4H of the current CAMS
Manual of Motor Sport. Fuel must comply with Schedule G of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. Vehicles
must be adequately muffled to comply with noise restrictions. All vehicles with a CAMS Log Book must be present it
at Scrutiny.
Approved crash helmets are required for all vehicles in the Khanacross and open vehicles in the Motorkhana
with suitable eye protection (not sunglasses) required for open vehicles. Choice of tyres will be restricted to road
tyres “ slick, rally, winter tread, studded or cut tyres will not be accepted (except for class F Khanacross & F & G
Motorkhana vehicles) and any car running these may be excluded”.
A Fire Extinguisher of 900g which complies with Schedule H of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport must be
fitted.
Apparel
Apparel, including helmets, shall comply with Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
Neck to wrist to ankle clothing is required and must be worn in all vehicles in the Khanacross. All competitors must
present the following documents at Scrutiny: A current CAMS competition licence, current club membership card, and
if issued CAMS Vehicle Logbook.

Forced Induction Engine Vehicles (Turbo &
Supercharged) will have their capacity
multiplied by 1.7 Petrol, 1.5 Diesel.
Rotary Engine Vehicles will be multiplied by
1.8
Rotary engine vehicles engine capacity will be determined by multiplying the capacity by 1.8 times.
Supercharged & Turbocharged engine vehicles will have their engine capacity multiplied by 1.7 times for spark
ignition engines and 1.5 times for diesel engines.
Motorkhana Classes
There will be Eleven classes as follows:
Front Wheel Drive Production vehicles with a
Rear Wheel Drive Production vehicles with a
Class AF= wheelbase up to 2150mm
Class AR= wheelbase up to 2150mm
Class BF= wheelbase from 2151 to 2390mm
Class BR= wheelbase from 2151 to 2390mm
Class CF= wheelbase from 2391 to 2574mm
Class CR= wheelbase from 2391 to 2574mm
Class DF= wheelbase 2575mm and over
Class DR= wheelbase 2575mm and over
Class E = Production vehicles with 4 wheel drive
Class F = Front wheel drive specials
Class G = Rear wheel drive specials
Convoy Run
A convoy run shall be conducted of all competitors on each course before competition starts on each new course as per
8.1 of the Khanacross Regulations.
Protests/ Appeals
Protests or appeals must be made in accordance with Part XII (Protests) and Part XIII (Appeals) of the current NCR’s.
Judges of Fact
All officials shall be deemed Judges of Fact in accordance with NCR 181 of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport
and Article 17 of the Khanacross Regulations.
General
Trophies will not be awarded.
No passenger may be carried in any vehicle without special permission of the clerk of course (Article 8.2 of the
Khanacross Regulations) but may be carried on a convoy run or in the Motorkhana after filling in the appropriate
disclaimer form.
Competition numbers shall be allocated at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course.
