In the event of concerned specialist who is placed in the higher scale being on regular leave 1 study leave 1 deputation 1 foreign assignment etc. on the date of placement, the placement shall take effect from the date she/he had assumed charge. 3. The controlling officers may please ensure that even after excluding the period of EOL availed, other than on Medical Grounds by any of the Promoted Officer he/she should have completed 6 years service in the scale of Rs. 12,000-37516,500 or total 8 years service in the pay scale of Rs. 10,000-325-15,200 and 12,000-375-16,500. 4. The pay of the above official on promotion shall be fixed under Rule 13( I) of Revised pay Rules, 2008 and he will have the option, to be exercised within one month from the ate of issue of this order, for fixation of his pay in the new post with effect from the date of appointment to the new post or with effect from the date of increment in the old post. 5.
